A Cuplock Omega hop-up bracket is a type of side bracket featuring T-section horizontals that resemble an Omega shape for the cuplock system scaffold.The Omega-shaped horizontals are designed to support scaffold battens and boards, whether made of timber or steel, that do not have hooks.

Omega Hop Up VS Standard Tubular Bracket

Omega Hop-up brackets differ from the tubular brackets mainly in the horizontal elements on the bracket.

Omeage hop-ups are made of Omega-shaped T-section steel profile. The Omega shape gives space and support to the scaffold boards with no hooks. It is convenient for both timber planks and steel scaffold battens.

Normal cuplock brackets are with horizontal elements of OD48.3mm scaffold tubes. The tubular horizontal takes steel scaffolding planks with hooks.
