Steel Base plate is a type of footplated for scaffold system and tube clamp scaffold. There are fixed base plate and swivel base plate.  
The spigot for scaffold steel base plate can be made from round bar or scaffold hollow tube. The sizes of steel base plate can be in 110, 120mm,140mm,150mm, 160mm,180mm,200mm etc according to BS1139 standard. 
According to the usage and size of spigot, base plate can be in insert type and socket type. 
Scaffold spigot base plate is always put on scaffold sole boards in construction, formwork scaffolding support and building.
